Patient: Nicholii Ostiguy
Nicholii started having problems with his stomach in November of 1999, I at that time thought it only was stomach flu. Unfortunately this elaborated in a much more serious problems then I anticipated. Four (4) days off school turned into months of agony for Nicholii. He was very pale, always nauseous and simply had no energy. We then decided to see my Family Dr. whom prescribed him some medication but to no avail. Furthermore I brought him to the Montreal Children’s Hospital where they diagnosed him with having excrements right up to his throat. They then proceeded in giving him a laxative to eliminate, which took several hours. Unfortunately this did very little for Nicholii still in pain. We were then already in December and Nicholii was still very ill. I wish to thank you for all you have done for my son Nicholii at the time when he was desperately in need of help. You were the only one who cured him of his sickness and I am grateful to you for this.
By this time over and above depression came dizzy spells which made the situation
unbearable. I then called upon a very close friend of mine Dr. A. Obeid (Nose and Throat Specialistfrom Hopital Sacre-Coeur) whom diagnosed Nicholii having Vertigo. He was then put on medication and furthermore Dr. Obeid ordered a series of Tests: Brain Scan, Abdominal Scan, seeing a Gastroenterologist specializing in child incapacitated pains and Psychiatrist. Furthermore the Specialist at Children’s Hospital ordered the insertion of a tube through his nose that was attached to a monitor around his stomach for 24 hours and the next day we would return to have it removed. None of allthe above including the psychiatrist did absolutely nothing for my son but aggravate the matter. We where already Mid February, 2000.
Finally through an acquaintance of mine, a very nice Indian Gentleman owning a jewellery store close to my house in Pierrefonds, Que., after hearing my story immediately proceeded in calling this doctor in Toronto and requesting me to get home as soon as possible so I could speak with him within the hour. DR. SHARMA was very patient and understanding and guided me through till I could meet with him in Toronto. Six (6) hours of driving and we finally met; upon seeing Nicholii he diagnosed his problem on the spot. IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) it took Dr. Sharma three (3) months to clear my son’s problem and to this day Nicholii is still clear of this problem. (And I pray God that he stays safe of it)
I wish to thank you Dr. Sharma for all you have done for my son Nicholii at the time when he was desperately in need of help. You were the only one who diagnosed his sickness and I am grateful to you for this.
To this day, we are still in contact with Dr. Sharma and have since moved to Toronto in 2003.
Thank you for everything Dr. Sharma. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
